The natural pH of the scalp is slightly acidic. The acidic pH 5.5 of this shampoo helps to support and maintain the natural barrier function of the skin. The action of alpha-hydroxy acids (lactic acid and citric acid) promotes cell renewal on the scalp. This helps clear the follicles of excessive build up of dead cell, allowing more room for thicker hair growth. It is free from common irritants such as soap, sulface surfactants and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES). It contains naturally derived cleansing agents which extra mild and less irrirating to the sensitive scalp. It gently cleanses the scalp and hair without damaging the hair structure. It contains natural moisturisers of oat and seaweed extracts, nicotinamid, and D-panthenol to ensure hair protein are kept hard and more resistant to breakage.
